Dr. Bakheet is skilled in large-scale data analysis, gene expression profiling, and development of computational tools for understanding disease mechanisms, particularly in cancer and viral infections. Dr Bakheet is actively involved in interdisciplinary projects integrating computational and experimental approaches to identify prognostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets.

Dr. Tala Bakheet was over 15 years of experience in bioinformatics and molecular biomedicine research. She previously worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Researcher at KFSHRC.

She holds a PhD in Bioinformatics from The University of Manchester, an MSc in Mathematical Sciences from Villanova University, and a BSc in Computer Science from Drexel University. She has contributed to multiple research projects focusing on gene regulation, RNA stability, and cancer biology.
