Program Information
A two-year fellowship training program in acute, chronic, and cancer pain management following completion of the continuum of education in anesthesiology or another accepted residency training program. The training will include pediatrics pain management, geriatrics pain management, and interventional pain management (radiofrequency, spinal cord stimulation, implantable drug delivery systems, and sacral neuromodulation).
The candidate has the option to rotate in palliative care, rheumatology, neurology, interventional neuroradiology, rehabilitation medicine, and psychiatry. The candidate is expected to participate in at least one research project during the period of fellowship training. Research time for a maximum of six months could be considered for an interested candidate. Spending part of the training inside or outside the Kingdom in a recognized center is possible.
