Your journey with KFSH&RC begins with initial communication and assessment of your preliminary medical diagnosis through our International Patient Care Centre, which evaluates your medical reports to determine the most appropriate treatment pathway and specialist consultation for your specific condition.

Booking and preparation

Once your case is accepted, our International Patient Care Centre manages all aspects of your arrival including appointment scheduling, arranging travel logistics, organizing accommodation, and providing guidance on required documentation, so your treatment is as easy as possible.

Travel & arrival

Upon your arrival, our International Patient Care Centre provides comprehensive reception services including airport assistance, transportation to your accommodation, and orientation support to help you settle comfortably before beginning your treatment at KFSH&RC.

Treatment & stay

Throughout your treatment at KFSH&RC, you will receive personalized, world-class medical care from internationally renowned specialists - including the physician who conducted your initial consultation - using state-of-the-art technology.

Recovery & discharge

KFSH&RC provides comprehensive post-treatment evaluation and follow-up consultation services, ensuring you receive detailed discharge instructions, access to your medical reports, and a clear care plan for your continued recovery, whether at home or through our remote monitoring services.

After you return home

After returning home, you can continue your care journey with KFSH&RC through remote follow-up consultations, access your medical reports and test results via the AlTakhassusi App, and maintain direct communication with your care team to monitor your recovery progress from anywhere in the world.

Ensure you bring your valid passport, updated medical reports and referral letters from your referring hospital, previous test results including radiology films and laboratory reports, a complete list of current medications, and any insurance documentation, along with the completed Patient Information and Consent for General Treatment Form provided by KFSH&RC.

Personal Items

Pack comfortable clothing appropriate for Saudi Arabia's climate, personal toiletries, any essential medical devices or equipment you currently use, sufficient supplies of your regular medications to cover your initial period, chargers for your electronic devices, and copies of important contact information including your KFSH&RC care team and family members back home.

Cultural considerations

Familiarize yourself with Saudi Arabia's customs and dress codes; modest clothing is recommended in public spaces, with women advised to wear loose-fitting garments covering shoulders and knees, and visitors should be mindful of prayer times, cultural norms around photography, and the Kingdom's alcohol-free policies to ensure a respectful and comfortable stay.
