Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) is one of the most evolving specialties in the medical field. The mission of the service is to provide highly specialized care in infertility treatment including IVF/ICSI, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), recurrent pregnancy loss, reproductive minimal invasive surgery, andrology, and gynecologic endocrinology.

The fellowship program offers trainees two (2) years of active work clinically and surgically, in addition to involvement in research and teaching activities. Infertility and IVF is the cornerstone for the training. Fellows are actively involved in patient management and counseling, procedures related to IVF such as ovum pick-up and embryo transfer, as well as in surgical procedures related to infertility and other gynecologic endocrine disorders (conservative laparoscopy, hysteroscopy). A recurrent pregnancy loss program and a gynecologic endocrine clinic exist with very active involvement of the fellows who learn and understand the work-up, evaluation, counseling and up-to-date treatment for the couples.
