Brain Health & Cognitive Disorders
The Brain Health & Cognitive Disorders program offers comprehensive evaluation, management, and treatment for memory disorders, dementias, and cognitive syndromes, including Alzheimer's disease and related conditions. Our integrated approach brings together neurology, advanced neuroimaging, and biomarker testing with ongoing support, focusing on early diagnosis, precision medicine, and helping patients maintain their quality of life.
30 years of Epilepsy leadership
Our Epilepsy program is the largest and most established epilepsy service in the region, specializing in refractory and complex cases. We use advanced neuroimaging, intracranial monitoring, and neuropsychological assessment to pinpoint seizure onset zones with sub-millimeter precision. Having performed more than 200 successful SEEG procedures, we're among the top 10 centres worldwide. Around 80% of our SEEG patients go on to have resective epilepsy surgery, with high rates of seizure freedom and reduced long-term medication dependence.
Specialized care for headache disorders
The Headache Disorders service provides specialized care for patients with primary and secondary headache syndromes, including migraine, cluster headache, and chronic daily headache. The program emphasizes accurate diagnosis, individualized treatment plans, and access to advanced pharmacologic and interventional therapies for patients with refractory headache conditions.
Intra-operative Neurophysiological Monitoring
The Intra-operative Neurophysiological Monitoring service provides real-time functional monitoring of the nervous system during complex neurosurgical and spine procedures. It plays a critical role in enhancing surgical safety and preserving neurological function, particularly in epilepsy surgery, skull base procedures, spine surgery, and functional neurosurgery.
