Pediatric Anesthesia

An approved two-year clinical fellowship program which trains the candidates to become proficient in the anesthetic care of high-risk neonates and children. This program consists of 14 months in the main operating room, in addition to rotations in cardiac anesthesia, pain management, intensive care, and exposure to off-site pediatric anesthesia.

Fellows are given two (2) months of elective time to pursue reading or research interests and are also expected to present a talk in the Anesthesia Grand Rounds. Fellows rotate 18 months at KFSH&RC and the remainder of the training period in the surrounding teaching hospitals.
