Gynecological Oncology

Gynecological Oncology is a dynamic subspecialty with many new changes and improvement in the knowledge and continuous evolvement of related diagnostic methods and surgical techniques. According to statistics from the cancer registry, many gynecological cancers such as endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer, and cervical cancer are within the common malignancies affecting the health of women.

The fellowship program is a three-year program designated for gynecologic oncology as a full subspecialty. The fellow will be trained in clinical and surgical gynecologic oncology, and in the field of medical oncology, radiation oncology, and other related subspecialties. At completion of the fellowship training, the trainee should be able to practice as an independent gynecologic oncologist capable of providing the diagnosis, treatment and management of all gynecological malignancies.
