Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers in women worldwide, accounting for nearly 27% of all malignancies in Saudi women, and is the second leading cause of cancer related mortality in women. The fact that one arm of the ambitious Saudi 2030 vision is to provide the best health care puts pressure on this sector to improve the treatment and life quality of cancer patients. Therefore, there is an urgent need to expedite the translation of laboratory discoveries into clinical applications through promoting basic and clinical research, bridging the gap between scientists and clinicians and stimulating domestic and international collaborations.
The “Advances in Breast Cancer Research: Towards Precision Therapy” conference will be held on November 7 - 8, 2018. Will provide an ideal and productive platform for researchers, clinicians, academicians and health professionals to promote discussion on recent developments, challenges, and new directions in breast cancer research and therapy, and to create opportunities for participants to accelerate their research and to advance the translation of scientific findings into clinical practice.
