KFSH&RC Ranks The First Among Healthcare Institutions in The e-Government Transformation Measurement “Qiyas”

King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre ranked tenth among 150 government institutions and earned first position among healthcare institutions in the e-Government Transformation Measurement Qiyas 6 according to the recently released “Yesser e- Government Program” report.


Dr. Qasim Al Qasabi, Chief Executive Officer of King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre pointed out that the organization has achieved considerable advancement in e- Government Transformation, which was reflected in the Qiyas 6 Score of 93%. By which the hospital qualified for the “Excellence & Improvement” phase.

Dr. Al Qasabi added that the Hospital looks for utilizing the latest electronic advances to ease e-government transactions and improve the level of services offered to patients.

e-Government Transformation phases are: Infrastructure, Availability, Excellence& Improvement and Integration.

“Qiyas” is a tool for measuring the progress and success of the implementation of e-Services by government entities which is carried out through a scientific methodology prepared by a national team from universities faculties and researchers who adopted the best international practices. Field surveys and analysis were conducted by a specialized national team from outside the ministry of Communication and Information Technology who were assigned to do this job.
