French Ambassador Francois Gouyette and his wife in the Kingdom visited King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Riyadh (KFSH&RC) last Wednesday December 6,2017. His Excellency, Dr. Majid Al Fayyadh, Chief Executive Officer, welcomed them.

At the beginning of the visit, Dr. Al Fayyadh briefed the French Ambassador and the accompanying delegation on the stages of the development of KFSH&RC and its achievements in many medical and research programs at the regional and international levels. After that, a meeting was held with a number of executive leaders at KFSH&RC. During the meeting, the aspects of cooperation between KFSH&RC and the medical and research institutions in France and means of enhancing them were discussed.

The French Ambassador expressed his gratitude of the warm welcome saying, "KFSH&RC is known worldwide for the efficiency of doctors and researchers and is considered the best hospital in the region". The French Ambassador added that there are currently 240 Saudi doctors receiving their training in France, mentioning names of some doctors from KFSH&RC who received their advanced training in French medical institutions.  He stressed that this cooperation reflects the depth of relations between the Kingdom and France, and that he is looking forward to increase this cooperation in the medical and research field.

The French Ambassador conducted a tour at King Abdullah Center for Oncology and Liver Diseases and some other departments in KFSH&RC.
