Chan Kian Ping

Associate Scientist specializes in developing diagnostic test kits, including lateral flow assays for bacterial, viral, and fungal pathogens. We produce in-house materials such as DNA primers and RNA and work with molecular techniques like qPCR and digital PCR. Our research focuses on improving assay performance and enhancing diagnostic accuracy and reliability.

Over six years of experience in developing lateral flow and ELISA assays for the detection of bacteria, viruses, and toxins. Over two years of experience in synthesizing DNA/RNA oligos for applications such as qPCR assays. Holds a PhD in Integrative Science and Engineering from the National University of Singapore. Previously worked in Singapore as a Scientist for four years at A*STAR and for two years at a start-up company focused on diagnostic kits.
