Program Information

The Department of Mental Health at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre is an integral component of the combined program of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties in Riyadh.

The trainee will be exposed to child psychiatry, consultation liaison, and general psychiatry rotations. Subspecialised clinics are run as clozapine clinic, neuropsychiatry, obsessive compulsive disorder, mood disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity, psychotherapy clinics, and in addition a combined clinic for resistant disorders and medico-legal cases. Trainees are offered a weekly session protected for academic activities, and have plenty of chances for contribution in research activities.
