International Sport Medicine Conference 2026

The Family Medicine Department is pleased to invite you to attend the "International Sport Medicine Conference 2026".



Objectives:
• Update knowledge on the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic sports medicine injuries, including overuse injuries and sports-related concussions.
• Apply evidence-based rehabilitation principles, therapeutic exercise, and biomechanical optimization to improve function, enhance performance, and prevent injury.
• Review current clinical guidelines for the outpatient management of musculoskeletal conditions in adult and pediatric athletic populations.
• Evaluate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic approaches to pain management and inflammation control in athletes.
• Assess and manage sports-related concussions and exercise-associated cardiac conditions, incorporating evidence-based return-to-play recommendations.
• Select and interpret appropriate imaging and diagnostic tools for the evaluation of sports-related injuries.
• Implement injury prevention strategies, functional assessments, and return-to-play criteria, and provide counseling to promote athlete health and well-being.
