The 8th Bladder Augmentation and Reconstruction Workshop

Dear Colleagues,

The Department of Urology is pleased to invite you to attend the 8th Bladder Augmentation and Reconstruction Workshop in collaboration with the Comparative Medicine Department. The aim of this workshop is to obtain and master essential skills in common urological reconstructive procedures. Familiarize the participants with indications, methods, and complication of bladder reconstruction. The program includes an extensive supervised hands-on surgery in dogs.

Objectives:

1. Identify indications of bladder augmentation and reconstruction

2. Identify techniques and complications of bladder augmentation and reconstruction.

3. Apply specific techniques of surgical reconstruction and augmentation of the urinary bladder

4. Manage patients with bladder dysfunction requiring bladder augmentation and reconstruction.

5. Improve the participants surgical skills in the components of bladder augmentation reconstruction surgery.
