The Child and Adult Protection Department is pleased to invite you to an awareness lecture held in conjunction with World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, titled:
“The Elderly Rights and Care System: Legal, Social, and Healthcare Protection”
The session will highlight the legal and regulatory frameworks related to the rights of older adults, as well as protection and prevention mechanisms against different forms of elder abuse, with the aim of strengthening public awareness and promoting a culture of respect, protection, and care for older persons.
The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Najlaa Alhuqail, Faculty Member at the College of Law and Political Science at King Saud University and Executive Director of Jadarat Center for Development and Training. The session will be moderated by Dr. Reem Hamadah, Family Physician, Women’s Health Specialist, Child and Adult Protection Section.
