At KFSH&RC, we are fully committed to empowering our patients and visitors with the resources they need to experience a remarkable healthcare journey.
Visitors Information & Visiting Hours
Visitors are an integral part of the treatment and recovery process; this is why the hospital encourages patients’ families and friends to visit them and spend time with them. But it is advisable that visitors adhere to the following instructions in order to ensure patients’ comfort:
- Children under the age 14 are not allowed to visit.
- The visitor must ensure he/ she in good heath.
- If the visitor is a carrier of an infectious disease such as Chicken Pox, Tuberculosis, Mumps or Measles during the last three weeks from the date of visit, then he/ she must inform the nurse prior to his/her visit.
- Visitors are prohibited from bringing food to the hospital.
- It is advisable to have no more than two visitors at a time in the patient’s room.
- The visitors are advised to maintain silence or low noise levels during their visits for the wellbeing of patients.
- Visitors must avoid using mobile phones during their visit. Visitors must keep the patient’s room clean and tidy.
- Visitors must inform the nurse concerning safety such as wet floor and so on.
- Children must be prevented from entering the adult Intensive Care Units.
Information Office:
Patients’ family members and visitors are advised to contact the registration & admission office to learn about visiting hours, patient’s room number and extension number. The information office is available to answer all questions related to clinics, car parks and patient services facilities, along with information about the hospital’s policy regarding patients and companions.
