King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSH&RC) is completely dedicated to modernization and has taken phenomenal leaps in this area to bring technology to patients, staff, and suppliers alike through their e-services portal. Taking a bold step ahead by embracing advancement in information technology (IT), KFSH&RC has automated its services and made health solutions just a click away! The e-services initiative is an easy-to-use and time-saving one-stop solution to all KFSH&RC stakeholders needs including patients , suppliers, and general inquiries of which everything is stored at one place for stakeholders to access anytime from anywhere. The e-service directory describes the categorical division of the e-services offered by KFSH&RC, which makes it easy to use the services for maximum benefits.
The general e-services at KFSH&RC comprise four categories: certificate verification system for patients, health education services for information on health care, world-class reference laboratory, and validation of sick leave provision in order to serve the whole community and patients electronically.
The exclusive e-services for patients allows a patient to monitor and access all their medical information online. Whether a patient wants to change an appointment, cancel an appointment, gain access to his/her medical history, find previous records on lab tests or immunization, monitor hospital visits, look at the history of medication recommended by the hospital and much more at any time according to patients’ for convenience or in an emergency situation.
At KFSH&RC, the use of modern state-of-the-art e-services is not limited to staff and patients. Rather, we took a step ahead and allowed a transparent bidding process for our suppliers, too.
KFSH&RC’s e-services for suppliers include two key services: Bids and iSupplier. These services ease out the bidding process for the suppliers by adopting the government’s ambitious procurement scheme called “Etimad,” which follows a set of strict procedures and ensures a fair bidding process.
