Under the patronage of H.R.H Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Madinah Region, King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSHRC) in Madinah has been honored with the 2023 Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Social Responsibility Award in the medical sector category. This recognition reflects the hospital’s exceptional contributions to advanced healthcare services to the community of Madinah and its surrounding areas since it began operations in late 2021, and for its ongoing efforts to provide the highest levels of healthcare and the best patient experience.
The award was received by Dr. Emad Khadawardi, Acting General Manager of KFSHRC Madinah, during the Excellence Awards Ceremony held at Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz University in Madinah, in recognition of his contributions to supporting social responsibility and advancing medical services in the region, in the presence of several dignitaries and officials.
KFSHRC Madinah has a capacity of 400 beds and offers specialized services in pediatric and adult oncology, ophthalmology, and obstetrics and gynecology. The hospital has also received 14 accreditations for training in various medical and nursing specialties.
It is noteworthy that KFSHRC has been ranked first in the Middle East and Africa and 20th globally in the list of the world’s top 250 Academic Medical Centres for the second consecutive year and recognized as the most valuable healthcare brand in the Kingdom and the Middle East, according to the 2024 Brand Finance rankings.
