King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSHRC) was honored by the Saudi Health Council in partnership with the Ministry of Health's Pilgrims’ Health Program at a ceremony honoring healthcare providers who served during the 1446 AH Hajj season. The event was held under the patronage of H.E. Health Minister Fahad Al-Jalajel, who also serves as Chairman of the Saudi Health Council.
The honorary shield was received from H.E. the Minister of Health, by Dr. Yaseen Mallawi, Chief of Staff at KFSHRC.
The hospital’s recognition underscores its contribution to enhancing healthcare readiness for pilgrims visiting the Grand Mosque. The KFSHRC’s major contribution included deploying a mobile stroke treatment unit at the Grand Mosque and Holy Sites, providing immediate on-site diagnosis and treatment using the highest medical standards with a dedicated emergency medical team—marking a world-first innovation in crowd medicine.
