King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSH) in Riyadh has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with LivaNova to establish a regional capacity-building hub in cardiopulmonary technologies, supporting applied medical education and enhancing healthcare professionals’ readiness to use advanced technologies in line with clinical and technical best practices.
Under the MoU, signed at the hospital’s premises in Riyadh, the regional capacity-building hub will deliver eight training sessions over two years, combining educational and practical components such as live clinical case observations and guided hospital tours. The sessions will be led by specialists and designed to support the safe and effective use of LivaNova’s cardiopulmonary technologies.
The collaboration supports applied medical education and specialized clinical training by bringing together KFSH’s clinical expertise and LivaNova’s technical expertise. It will provide healthcare professionals with structured opportunities for hands-on learning, knowledge exchange, and the sharing of best practices in cardiopulmonary care.
