King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSH) is the first healthcare institution in the Middle East to join the International Registry for Alzheimer’s Disease and Other Dementias (InRAD), with the registry now active and its first patient successfully enrolled.
Led by KFSH’s Cognition and Behavioral Neurology Section within the Neuroscience Centre of Excellence, the initiative connects the hospital to an international registry that collects standardized real-world clinical data to support dementia research and improve readiness for future clinical trials.
KFSH’s participation will strengthen regional representation in global Alzheimer’s and dementia studies, contribute clinical data from Saudi Arabia to international research, and support future access to multicenter studies and emerging therapeutic pathways.
InRAD is an international, not-for-profit registry coordinated by the independent InRAD Foundation in the Netherlands. It brings together healthcare institutions to harmonise real-world data on Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, supporting international research collaboration and future clinical studies.
