Project Summary
This project is focused on the development of advanced RNA-based therapeutic modalities for precise and targeted intervention in human disease. RNA strategies to correct or modulate genetic mutations, treat infectious diseases, and enhance cancer immunotherapy are examined. The goal is to improve the specificity, safety, stability and translational potential of RNA therapeutics, so as to achieve more effective treatments with reduced toxicity. This research aims to advance clinically viable RNA medicines that improve patient outcomes, while contributing to long-term reductions in healthcare costs.
