Summary

Responsible for supporting the executive management in the development and implementation of safety risk frameworks, policies and processes to drive a proactive and consistent risk management culture across the Hospital.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

1. Collaborates with identified key stakeholders to implement risk management methodologies and processes throughout the Hospital.

2. Prepares departmental related presentations and reports based upon data trend analysis.

3. Coordinates with identified stakeholders to gather data, monitoring and analysing enterprise risks and trends.

4. Assists in develop and updates the Hospital Risk Universe and Risk Appetite as well as the Annual Risk Assessment Plan.

5. Partners with identified key stakeholders to identify, assess, aggregate processes and controls related to the risks.

6. Analyses Key Risk Indicators to ensure that operational risks are analyse within the limits set in the risk appetite.

7. Assists in the develops, monitors and analyses ongoing review of risk mitigation plans, based upon an analysis of the effectiveness of the current plan, for viability.

8. Assists in the develop and implement of a continuous monitoring and reporting program related to risk identification and management.

9. Participates in Root Cause Analyses (RCA) related to non-clinical incidents and emergencies to determine system errors and support the development of mitigation plans.

Education

Primary discipline:Master’s, or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or related discipline is required.

Secondary discipline:Bachelor’s Degree in other speciality plus Master’s in primary discipline is required.

Experience Required

Grade 10:Three (3) years of primary experience with Master’s, or five (5) years of relatedexperience with Bachelor’s Degree is required.

Grade 11:Five (5) years of primary experience or five (5) years of experience [ four (4) years primary / one (1) year secondary ] with Master’s, or seven (7) years of primaryexperience with Bachelor’s Degree,including two (2) years of (Grade 10) experience is required is required.
