Introduction:
Anesthesia Technology Internship is an obligatory period of experiential learning covering (6) six months where the graduate of Anesthesia technologist is trained in the operating theater and intensive care unit to acquire the knowledge, skill, and competencies required to function as an independent Anesthesia Technologist.
Objectives:
- Assist in the delivery of anesthesia under the medical direction of a professional anesthesiologist
- Practice and acquire clinical anesthesia skills
- Perform quality control procedures
- Operate and maintain various anesthesia instruments, monitors, and machines
- Understand the responsibilities, roles, and duties of the anesthesia technology professionals
Duration:
Six (6) months
Acceptance Criteria:
- Internship request letter from Intern’s sponsor
- Saudi national or borne from Saudi mother only
- GPA 3.5 out of 5 and above
- Pass the interview
